Photo: Not a bad setting for a learning experience
After nearly 16 years in Italy we finally had a pasta making lesson. It was part of Margherita and Gerhard’s wedding celebrations. We were invited to join a few guests for the lesson a few days before the ceremony.
Loretta at the Agriturismo Pozzuolo was our teacher for the evening. We would make the pasta then sit round the table to eat what we’d made.
Eggs, flour, boiling water and years of experience are all you need.

Watch the expert roll out the dough with ease.

Then have a go yourself

It’s not a conspiracy but I just forgot to photograph the finished result. I can tell you the final taglietelle wasn’t necessarily as even as Loretta’s but it tasted good.
Grazie Loretta.
