Wine in English would have been a more accurate description. Our friend Peter, who lives in Fano invited us to a wine tasting to help out his friend Davide.
Davide is a sommelier who wanted to practise his English to help him with conducting wine tastings for tourists.
We also met Jane, Peter’s mother. As we said, as Peter is such a nice chap then his mother must be equally nice. She was. Charming.
It was the biggest gathering of English people in Italy we’d been with since Abi and Hannah came to visit last September.
